DJI MINI 3 PRO
⚠️ What to consider / trade-offs
The advertised 34 min flight time is under perfect conditions; wind, maneuvering, and other real-world factors often reduce usable time.
If you use the larger battery (Battery Plus) you may go over 250 g, which can bring additional regulations or registration in some countries.
Obstacle avoidance is good for forward/back/downward directions, but not all directions (e.g. side sensors are missing). So still needs cautious flying.
Price vs features: There are newer drones/models (like the Mini 4 Pro) that add extra functionality; depending on budget and how up-to-date you want, that might matter.
Portability versus payload: Because it’s small/light, you get less in terms of ruggedness or ability to carry attachments, etc., than bigger drones.
Who it’s good for
If you are someone who:
wants great aerial video/photos but doesn’t want to deal with heavy, bulky drones
cares about ease of transport and using it legally without tons of red tape
are into content creation (social media, travel, vlogging) and need vertical video, tracking, etc.
value safety features (avoid crashes)
Then the DJI Mini 3 Pro is a strong option.
